My name is Lukas Hillesheim. I work as a consultant and trainer in the fields of database engineering, business intelligence engineering and data science. In the beginning of My professional career I was busy as an studied musician and for over 20 years I have been an IT specialist. Since then I've been engaged in the evolving MS SQL Server universe: from the simple database software to the high-performance, scalable platform, later the extensions with analytical features and reporting/Power BI, and now Azure. My activities include both training and projects. Recurring focal points are performance tuning, high availability and KPI development with MDX and DAX.
